Good solid track

hey man, pretty solid track you have here... Like Fatkidwithajetpack said, the vocals werent really beat matched to the drums.
The pad was a very nice touch, and with combined with the vocals, they did sound nice. But add in a melody or something, make it more interesting.

YAY for construtive Critisizm!!!!!!!

There was a lot of clipping in this song. Which is due to how loud your drums and synths and FX are. To solve this, just either lower the volume or add a Fruity Compressor. Right after the 5th second, there is a lot of distortion probably due to distortion.

This song overall wasnt bad, it just lacked some basic musical things. Structure, melody and some other things

This song wasnt structured too well, although there werent anything off-beat, there were a lot of random things. I heard a little pad at :12 which i thought was pretty cool, but then you get right back into the bass and drums. then i think a silver saw comes in :33 with a platnium saw backround, i know you attempted a melody, and i completely understand this is your first song, but it's very random and repeatitive, make a longer piano roll by switching up the notes and stuff.

OH and the kick at the beginning was a little plain, add in a FX or something to spice it up, the beginning is one of the most important things in the song.

Wow... long review
Overall good job, but a 6/10 and 5/5 cause i <3 you.

awesome song man!

holy shit, that about sums up what this song is like. The transitions where perfect, i liked how you barley used hi hats but replaced that with hi hats. Great idea! I liked that sort of pad melody that flows perfectly with the melody. The "are you ready" vocals i've heard you use that before, and same with the "FREEZE"

I'm at the piano part and it brings the whole peice down to an epic flow. then the bass comes in, which btw, you probably could've made the bass a bit louder. The FREEZE part along with the snares to bring back the melody is unbelievable. Ending is fine, a fade out with a shortened melody.
9/10 cause of some technical stuff and a 5/5

awesome job man, when the hell are we going to work on that collab?
Dj-Unknown or Dj-Known =P XD

CONSTRUCTIVE CRISISM TIME!!

Okay first thing. The beginning. The kick was too basic, assign the kick to a mixer channel. Then go to mixer presets in the Fl browser, and drag the techno pounder preset into the kick channel and play around with all those settings.
Umm the transitions were ok, with the FX, just work on that. :57 was funny, kind of mad me want to shoot myself in the face, very psychedelic.
Overall the song was creative but was a little basic and not very well organized.

Nice try, 3/5 6/10

SonicJ responds:

Meh, when your done spinning around in a chair, anything makes scence.
:57 made you want to shoot yourself in the face O_O? Wowie, didn't see that coming.
I'll try what you mentioned with the mixer, in my next submit
ion. Thanks for the review Dj-unknown!

Okay.....

But could've been better, add a main melody, every song needs a main melody, you just had the one guitar note in there. Oh and chill out on the choirs, you use them in almost song. =P Stay away from Slayer, it's notorious for distorting sounds although not so much in this song since there was only one note, use Sytrus Inferno if you want a hardcore guitar lead. Some notes of your bass were off-key.

Other then that, i see improvement with each song you create.
Good job 4/5 7/10

SonicJ responds:

Thanks for the review! You noticed my use of the choirs. I just love them. A sorta melodramatic feel.
Well, my next song didn't use any, so be happy :D Slaysers bad? I tihnk I used the systrus inferno in one song, I can't recall/ Thanks for the review, I'll check out your song :D

Awesome collab!

This was a great collab! Rivals the great basshunters original! The Kick had great depth, the drums were good although they could've been more complex. The synth was a good choice and can't imagine any other synth being used. The Inferno or what sounded like the inferno guitar threw off the atmosphere a bit. A pad could've also been used to augment the dreamy atmosphere.
Overall awesome collab, kudos to both of you.

run out of inspirtion eh?

haha you must depleted of your inspiration skillz to use the atez present. hahaha i'm just kidding. Although you did use it, the rest was expertly organized. The kick could of been a tad louder or infact layered with another kick to give it that BOOM feeling. The clap was good, i love the bass, what is it called? I WANT IT! i'm at 1:40 now, i love how you added that little melody in there that overlaps the whole song... gave it that epic feel. did it again at 3:00 but this time you varied it by adding more notes that climb to the top!! aww that's amazing.. Overall this is a great song. hope this reaches top of the week!
Only thing bad about this song really is some distortion around the transitions, the FX overlaps the other beats sometimes cause distortion.

Overall nearly perfect! Awesome job
9/10
5/5!

Anima-Theory responds:

Thanks :D

The bass is vanguard, a 303 teebee I think. I did mod it a bit though.

Anima

Very nice.

this is a pretty neat track you have going on here. You have all the right things you just need to learn to organize it better, you have that one melody going thoughout the entire peice, at :33 i would like to hear that mellow part repeat a few more times, but immdieatly you break that peacefulness with the intensity of the gold saw. The drums were good, very drum and bassy sounding. Overall the only thing bad about this peice is the repetition and the organization. Oh and the ending is fine, ending it with the piano that you brought the melody in with.
8/10
4/5
Great job!

Kickin song

FINALLY! You released this song but didnt tell me! Badd boney-man! haha anyways, yeah the bass line is kicking, the drums are rocking and the strings (which you never use) sound fine IMO. And i know you love making your songs long, but that is sometimes the downfall of any great song. But this song keeps you constantly listening for new things. The vocals, the raindrop lets were all great samples.
Keep it up man

Dj-Unknown

boney-man responds:

Thank findsounds.com for the rain & thunder samples lol. I like this song quite much. lol.

better

lol this was a very fun song to just listen to.
the transitioning was wonderful with that twing of the string
The problem was the cowbell, you just leave that out at :24 and just have a claps and bass solo or something, just a break from that bell.
Also bring down the volume of it.
Again, repetition is the biggest enemy for music producers today. You take out the cowbell and bring it in the next a second later.
Keep at it
